Patient Bank Programme

The Patient Bank Programme is based in the Clinical Skills Centre which is located in Ninewells Hospital and Medical School. The Centre offers a realistic clinical setting for students to practice communication and practical skills and the facilities include consultation rooms, demonstration rooms and a simulation suite.
The website is a central part of doctor training in realistic clinical settings at the University. It acts as a central booking system for managing ‘simulated patients’ and the training sessions they participate in.
Staff can add multiple training sessions to the website. These are sent to simulated patients who can then choose the sessions they wish to attend. The website also provides a lot backend administrative tools for the team, which has made the entire process much more efficient.
